#SuperDelegatesVote: 'I Accept This Wholly!' - Kwabena Agyepong Opens Up On His Defeat

NPP presidential hopeful, Kwabena Agyepong says he accepts his defeat in the Special Delegates Congress on Saturday, August 26.

Kwabena Agyepong failed to make the list of five candidates to compete in the party's November 4th election to elect their flagbearer.

He polled 6 votes representing 0.65%.

Speaking in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme Monday morning, the former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party said; "I accept this wholly!"

He noted that he is not perturbed by the outcome of the election as he psyched himself up before going into the election.

"If you have been to an election before, you've got to prepare yourself for the two outcomes that it could go in your favor or not. So, psychologically and emotionally, I was prepared for it. It shocked me but I wasn't perturbed. I just continued", he emphasized.

He however pledged to "continue to be an advocate for what is right for Ghana".
