309 delegates from various electoral areas of the Adentan constituency have thrown their support behind Alfred Ababio Kumi, also known as Adenta Kumi.

They support him by giving him financial backing of Ghc 7430 and also picking the NPP parliamentary nomination forms on his behalf. 

This grass root move has sparked speculations within the political circles as Adenta Kumi is said to be a great force against the incumbent Member of Parliament for Adentan constituency.

Adenta Kumi, who is the old horse in the Adentan NPP Parliamentary candidate race, is startled by the massive support saying “this is the first of its kind. If it’s a dream, I need to wake up”.

According to one of his campaign coordinators, Mr. Andy Amankwaa, the highest contributor to Mr. Kiki’s course is the polling station Chairman in Otanor, the same electoral area Adenta Kumi is a polling Chairman. 

He went on to say that the 309 delegates have studied Kumi since the party’s primaries in 2020 and they believe in his vision.

“From information we have gathered on the grounds, Alfred Ababio Kumi, emerges as a promising candidate who will give NPP more…These delegates, who act as executives of their respective polling stations, have recognized something unique in Adenta Kumi leading them to invest their faith and funds in his candidacy.”
