Ashanti MPs Silent over Projects Initiated by Alan Kyerematen in the Region – Adakabre

Popular Radio presenter, Adakabre Frimpong Manso has taken a swipe at the Ashanti Region Members of Parliament (MPs) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for failing to appreciate and highlight various development projects undertaken by the Akufo-Addo government in the Region which were spearheaded by former Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten.

According to Adakabre, the Ashanti NPP MPs are not helping the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government with their silence over projects initiated and implemented by the government for which the majority of Ghanaians are beneficiaries.

He believes that the Members of Parliament from the Ashanti Region continue to keep quiet over these projects and development because Alan Kyeremanten will get the glory at the end.

“Why are they silent? They are not projecting the good works of the party because Alan Kyeremanten will get the glory,” he said.

He also expressed disappointment in these MPs who knew of all these projects but yet, are very ‘stubborn’ and failed to support these developments.

He talked about ICUMS, dedicated Rail lines from the region to landlocked countries, and the Legacy project among other projects signifying the competence of Alan Kyerematen which the MPs must project and tell the people about.

Adakabre Frimpong Manso said people continue to mock the party and government as if nothing is happening yet these MPs are not just willing to open up to the people about the many such projects just because Alan Kyeremanten has a hand in making those projects happen.

He urged them to put aside their pride and go all out to propagate the good works of the government irrespective of who or which minister or personality is behind the success of those projects.

The ace broadcaster made these remarks earlier this week on his afternoon political talk show dubbed ‘meman nti’ on Neat 100.9 Fm.
