Director of Local Government Services at the Office of the President, Dennis Miracles Aboagye says the only candidate among the aspirants vying to become flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who can beat the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, is Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

To Dennis Miracles, there is no other candidate apart from Dr. Bawumia to go head-to-head with John Mahama in the 2024 elections.

He averred that the Vice President has proven beyond doubt that he has the gravitas to beat Ex-President John Mahama who is the obvious choice to lead the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress, into the 2024 general elections.

He highlighted the immense role of Dr. Bawumia and his influence, particularly in the northern sector of Ghana, by reminding his party faithfuls and Ghanaians how the Bawumia effect swept votes from the sector for the NPP during the 2020 elections.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show, Dennis Miracles stated; "I believe that you need to beat John Mahama in an election first and the person that can beat John Mahama is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and he has proven it."
