I Believe In Alan's 'Aduro Wo So' Campaign- Kotomah

In a sharp rebuttal to Former New Patriotic Party's National Youth Organiser and now National Lottry Authority Board Chairman, Sammi Awuku's assertion that he does not believe in Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng's "aduro Wo So" campaign, Issahaku Kotomah, Deputy Operations Director of Alan's campaigns says he believes in it, especially when the next in line is much more competent than Dr Bawumia.

Mr Kotomah who could have easily followed Dr Muhammadu Bawumia on ethnic and religious basis if he had bought into the kind of ethnic and religious campaign Dr. Bawumia and his people are doing in the north, says he worked so hard for Nana Akufo-Addo after Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten conceded defeat to him in 2007.

He says on the basis of the same tradition of "ye nim wo frititi" or "aduro wo so", which today, Akufo-Addo and his allies are going against it, he unflinchingly supports Mr. Kyerematen and has urged his northern and Muslim brothers and sisters in the north to throw their weight behind Mr. Alan Kyerematen because he is the right person with unblemished Character credibility and competence to lead the party and Ghana.

According to him the party shouldn’t fall for NDC propaganda to choose a weak candidate in the person of the Vice President. According to him, no factor favours the Vice President in the country at the moment.

"What the party needs is somebody who is more appealing to the generality of the Ghanaians at a time many Ghanaians have lost hope in politicians like Dr Muhammadu Bawumia. How Bawumia led economic conversations ahead of the 2016 elections and how his own campaigners are now disassociating him from Akufo-Addo's Government's Economic Management prevailing challenges means that as a party we ourselves have issues with his level of competence," he said.

He asked, "if President Akufo-Addo does not trust Bawumia to put him in charge of the economy as we are being told, how do we expect Ghanaians to trust him?"

He advised Sammi Awuku and other followers of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia to stop hating Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten for merely contesting Akufo-Addo. "He committed no crime for contesting him. If for nothing at all, Alan Kyerematen magnanimously allowed Akufo-Addo to lead the party when he couldn’t get the required 50+1 votes to lead. Doesn’t one good thing deserve another, he said?
