You Can't Fight Galamsey When You Seize Excavators and Hand it Over to NPP Members - Mahama Tells Akufo-Addo

Former President John Dramani Mahama has stated that the fight against galamsey has failed and has not succeeded due to the approach being used by the current NPP government.

The former President states that the Akufo-Addo led government has adopted a partisan interest approach to fight the galamsey menace instead of an independent and national interest approach.

Mahama further accused the NPP government of arresting and prosecuting only Ghanaians who have no affiliation with the NPP and are into galamsey leaving the NPP party members who are seriously engaging in illegal mining activities.

Meanwhile, the former President further has alleged that when excavators are seized it is subsequently given to the NPP party activist to engage in the same illegal act.
