Can You Name One Policy You Introduced In Your Political Career? - Bawumia Taunts Mahama

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has thrown a challenge to former President John Dramani Mahama to name a single policy under his name in his nearly 30-year political career.

Addressing thousands of people who walked with him in Mpraeso Kwahu on Saturday, Dr. Bawumia highlighted numerous interventions and policies delivered by the Akufo-Addo government.

In contrast, he challenged former President Mahama, who appears set to face Dr. Bawumia in next year's general elections, to name a single policy he has introduced in Ghana.

"I won't ask for two or three, but just one. Can John Mahama mention just one policy he introduced in this country in over his nearly 3 decades in politics?," Dr. Bawumia challenged Ex-President Mahama.

"He has been a Deputy Minister, a Minister, Vice President and President and I want him to name just one policy," the Vice President added.

In another taunt, Dr. Bawumia said the government of the former President was "creating unemployment" leading to the formation of Unemployed Graduate Association until the Akufo-Addo government came in and found innovative ways to create jobs.

The Vice President revealed that, so far, the Akufo-Addo government has created 2.1 million jobs; 900000 in the private sector and 1.2 million in the public sector.

"These are verifiable jobs and anyone who wants to verify can do so. I challenge anyone with a contrary data to come forward and challenge," he said.
