The seasoned politician stormed the funeral grounds of the father of Chairman Konadu and was mobbed by the teaming masses and party faithfuls.
To confirm his strong hold of the region, candidates tagged as Pro- Alanķ won the majority of seats at the last regional constituency executive elections.
The teaming fan base that embraced Hon Kyerematen at the funeral grounds was evidence of their support for him to become the Party’s flagbearer in next year's presidential elections.
