NPP Will Win 2024 Elections Despite Economic Challenges - Owusu Bempah

Ernest Owusu Bempah, a deputy Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) has said the Nana Addo- led administration will tackle the current economic challenges facing the country and steer us unto the right path and win the 2024 elections.

According to him the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has managed the economy better despite the numerous challenges resulting from the Russia/Ukraine war and the COVID-19 pandemic.

He told Journalists in Accra on Wednesday that before the pandemic, the county’s growth rate was 8% as compared to John Mahama’s 3% which did not experience any of the Russia/Ukraine war and the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said that tells Ghanaians how the NPP has managed the economy better despite the situation.

He added that the NPP has been able to steer the country through the heavy storm even though there are serious challenges.

“One can imagine if John Mahama and his NDC were leading this country, by now Ghanaians will be wallowing in abject poverty, people wouldn’t be able to afford three square meals a day.

“There will be total darkness because of dumsor, joblessness will be the order of the day, and the youth will be perplexed if Mahama had been the leader of this country at this time.

“Despite all the challenges now, school children are going to school for free, and road networks are being built across the country.

He said all these infrastructure development wouldn’t have happened if Mahama was in power.

“They will blame it on the economic challenge,” he added.

Ernest Owusu Bempah believes the NPP will put the country back on track and elect the best  leader before the 2024 elections to propel it to ‘break the eight’.

“The NDC with John Mahama as an alternative is empty, they have been there before when there were no crisis, we saw what they did and they have nothing to offer,” he said.
