Managing Director of Ecobank Ghana, Mr Daniel Sackey says supporting and participating in this annual event, the Light Up Accra ceremony forms part of its corporate social responsibility to impact the lives of the people within the communities they operate in.

According to him, investing in such an activity which create excitement around the Christmas and New Year festivities is a worthy charitable cause as it also serve as a platform to create awareness about Ecobank’s digital financial solutions deployed to help Ghana’s financial inclusion agenda.

Dr Daniel Kasser Tee, Acting Head, Marketing and Communications, Ecobank Ghana and Anglophone West Africa, speaking on behalf of the Managing Director, said Ecobank has always taken up the key role of providing financial support for events such as the Light Up Accra to remind all Ghanaians how easy banking today has become than expected.
