Acorns to Oaks School Holds Maiden Graduation Ceremony

Acorns to Oaks School, a private school for children under and above the age of 10 years, has held its maiden graduation ceremony.

The school situated at Kwabenya, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, organized the graduation ceremony at its premises to usher its first batch of graduates into the next academic stage.

The school which starts from crèche to primary level saw the graduates and entire students as well as staff gathered at the forecourt as various educative and colorful events were held by some selected pupils and  students.

Some brilliant pupils engaged in exciting UCMAS (Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System) competitions and the winners were presented with prizes to reward them for their excellent performances.

Notable among the awardees was a class 3 student who outwitted his class 4 and 5 contenders to emerge the victor in the UCMAS competition.

Some of the school children also gave a beautiful rich cultural display and recited poems.

The school’s music group, with their melodious voices, also delivered tuneful renditions of some popular music to the delight of the gathering of parents and guardians during the ceremony.

The maiden edition of the Acorns to Oaks School was characterized by excitement and contentment as the audience was charged up while the students reflected what their teachers have been teaching them.

Delivering a keynote address at the ceremony themed “Sending Leaders To The World To Possess Nations”, the Headmaster of the school, Joseph Boakye Yiadom Yeboah commended the staff of the school for their hard work and selfless interest in building up the students academically and giving them great lessons for life.

He urged the teachers to continue to see their role as crucial to the development of the pupils and students.

He further advised the school children, particularly the graduates, to uphold the principles and values inculcated into them by their teachers as they continue their academic and life journey.

The ceremony ended with presentation of certificates by the Headmaster to the graduates who are mainly kindergarten pupils.

In attendance to the event were the Co-founder of the school, the school’s Chief Executive Officer and other dignitaries.
