Reducing Presidential Convoy and Ministers Not Solution to Our Economic Problems - Kwesi Pratt Replies Critics

Seasoned Journalist, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has waded into discussions regarding President Nana Akufo-Addo's convoy.

The President's convoy has become a matter of concern to many Ghanaians as the fleet of cars that are always en route with him are numerous and said to be a complete waste.

In a viral video showing the President's convoy during his visit to some communities in the Ashanti Region, some viewers managed to count more than 30 cars in the convoy.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme, Kwesi Pratt stated that the presidential convoy is of a little to no relevance so far as the challenges facing Ghanaians are concerned.

"Those calling for a reduction in the presidential convoy and the size of government is not the solution to the economic problems we are facing. Even if we reduce the presidential convoy to two cars, it won't solve our problems. If he even sacks all the Ministers and it is left with only five, it won't solve the problems we are encountering," he said.
