NPP National Elections; Abankwah Yeboah Is No. 8 On Ballot Paper

Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah is number eight on the ballot paper in the impending National Delegates Conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

All 48 aspirants for various positions in the party picked their spots on the ballot paper during a meeting at the Headquarters.

The delegates conference will come off from July 15th to 16th at the Accra Sports Stadium.

After the exercise, Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah picked “Number 8”.

He described the exercise as successful saying “fortunately for me I was praying to God to have either number 1 or the last number to enable my able delegates and supporters to vote easily and God has been good I got the ‘Aseɛ  Hɔ’”.

He also appealed to the aspirants to advise themselves and their supporters not to use insults in their campaigns.

“I want to use this opportunity to tell my other colleagues to advise their supporters to campaign on issues because we are going into leadership positions and expect our campaign to be decorous and respect for each other. It will be unfair for supporters to go round defacing peoples posters. I am more encouraged knowing that I can bring fairness, togetherness and transparency to the party if given the nod.”

Supporters of the party applauded Mr.  Abankwah-Yeboah about his leadership qualities.

They stressed;  “We know that Abankwah-Yeboah is the right candidate for the chairmanship position because he has been tested and trusted, so we believe he is coming with benefits and opportunities that will prosper the youth and the party faithfuls. So, let’s all rally behind him for fairness and accountability at the national level when given the nod.”
