Edmund Kyei  Calls For Calm In Ongoing NPP Internal Elections

There have been several reports of violence and misunderstanding in some constituencies pertaining to the ongoing NPP'S polling station elections. Per information gathered, if care is not taken there will be deep cracks within our beloved party immediately after the election of polling station executives so I am pleading with the parties involved to remain calm but use the appropriate channels to address their grievances.

We can sight examples from some Constituencies within the Ashanti Region where most polling station and constituency executives have channelled their displeasure to the media, which cannot solve our problem but rather brings our democratic party to public ridicule. I plead with those involved in these issues to be calm and not to take the law into their own hands but rather use the party hierarchy to solve their problem.

We have a huge task ahead of us, which is elections 2024 and the party has to stay united to win this election. If we keep on fighting ourselves, our opponents will dully capitalize on that to defeat us. The NPP has come a long way and we have a nation to govern so let's not take things for granted but rather be focused on how to help His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to Ghana to the promised land.
