Abronye DC Invited By Police Over Coup Allegations Against Former Prez Mahama
The Ghana Police Service has invited the Bono Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) over allegations he has made against former President John Dramani Mahama that he is planning to stage a Coup.
In a statement signed by the Director-General, Public Affairs, DCOP Kwasi Ofori, he noted that his failure to honour the friendly invitation will lead to his arrest.
The Bono regional Chairman of the NPP popularly called Abronye DC has alleged that former President John Mahama has met the Al Qaeda militants to stage a coup in Ghana.
In an audio circulating, Mr. Kwame Baffoe alleged that former President John Mahama is in ties with the group to help him undertake a coup to become President again.
