Death Row Inmate Who Survived Botched 2-Hour Execution Dies Years Later of Natural Causes

A death row inmate who famously survived a botched execution attempt three years ago has died of natural causes in prison, aged 64.

Doyle Hamm was sentenced to death in 1987 and had spent 33 years in jail for the shooting murder of a man at a motel in Alabama.

In 2018, he was due to be executed by lethal injection.
