The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yammin has cautioned members of the party who he says are peddling wicked lies about him to desist from it.
The perceived Jerry John Rawlings� loyalist in a press statement issued on May 26 2011 was worried that certain people are using his name to convince delegates to the party�s July congress in Sunyani to vote for incumbent president, Atta Mills.
�Let me caution those individuals that I have all the records of all the things said about me and do not want to expose things that will be bad for all of us�.
�I am not into contest with anybody and for that matter I should not be a subject of any aspirant�s campaign," the statement said.
He was of the view that like every true member of the party, the principles and vision of Former President Jerry Rawlings who is the founder of the NDC party should not be taken for granted.
Mr. Yammin advised that NDC needed everybody on board the 2012 election campaign train after July and pleaded with party people not to do things that would crash the party after July.
