Former Atebubu-Amantin MP Donates To Ghana Education Service

The immediate past Member of Parliament(MP) for Atebubu-Amantin Constituency and former Bono East Regional Minister Kofi Amoakohene has presented dual desks for school children numbering 1,004 pieces to the Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Education Directorate.

The former MP in a handing over speech reiterated that he did promise ahead of the 2020 general elections to prepare a total of 15,000 desks if he gets the nod within the 4years of his second term.

It must be emphasized that he presented over 1,500 pieces before the elections and has indeed fulfilled another assurance to his people in a brief ceremony at Atebubu Anglican School Park.

The total donation now stands at 3,100 pieces.

He was optimistic in his passion for education, as education has brought him this far.

The Municipal Director of Education for Atebubu-Amantin, Mr. Isaac Kwadwo Budu on behalf of the entire Directorate was so thankful to the former legislator for his kind gesture and solicited for more.

He advised philanthropists within Atebubu-Amantin to emulate similar gesture.

Kofi Amoakohene was accompanied by Mr. Kwaku Duah, a Circuit Supervisor with the GES and the NPP Constituency Organizer for Atebubu-Amantin constituency.

Atebubu-Amantin is forever grateful to Kofi Amoakohene.

"Every project I started will surely be completed by the Grace of God," he stated.
