COVID-19: Malawi has lost two of its politicians in one day: A local government minister, Lingson Belekanyama, and the country's transport minister, Sidik Mia, both died from COVID-19 early this morning. President Lazarus Chakwera in a radio address urged the nation to work together to combat the threat from the virus. At least six ministers of President Chakwera’s cabinet have tested positive for the coronavirus so far.
