Founder and leader of All People's Congress (APC), Dr. Hassan Ayariga has once again shown interest in contesting the Presidential elections.

Dr. Hassan Ayariga contested the 2012 elections on the ticket of the People's National Convention (PNC) and lost woefully.

He subsequently formed his own party - the APC - to contest the 2016 elections but didn't make the cut to be on the ballot paper because he was disqualified by the Electoral Commission.

But as relentless as he is, Mr. Ayariga is back again to contest the 2020 elections and this time round he believes Ghanaians will be convinced with his manifesto and elect him as President.

Although he hasn't filed his nomination yet at the Electoral Commission, the APC Presidential candidate is already fired up to wrest power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and he's targeted the ruling party's stronghold which is the Ashanti Region.

Hassan Ayariga has made promises to the people of the Region, hoping it will buy him massive support and votes.

Speaking on ''Kokrokoo'' on Peace FM,  the Dean of the School of Performing Arts of the University of Ghana, Legon, Professor Kofi Agyekum, popularly known as Opanyin Agyekum did the general public a kind gesture by narrating Hassan Ayariga's manifesto for the Ashanti Region.

Opanyin Agyekum told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that Mr. Ayariga has promised to create three different Regions out of the Ashanti Region should he become President.

According to him, Mr. Ayariga says he will name one Region after the Overlord of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, another will be named the Greater Kumasi and the last Region will be called Kumerica.

After throwing the spotlight on Mr. Ayariga's manifesto which courted some laughter from the panel on 'Kokrokoo', Opanyin Agyekum, in few words, gave an advice to the people of Ashanti Region saying ''if the Asante people will vote for him (Hassan Ayariga), it's up to them!''.
