A National Communications Team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jennifer Oforiwaa Prempeh also known as Jennifer Queen says some big shots in the opposition National Democratic Congress are not happy with Mahama's choice of a running mate.

Those people are 'bleeding inside' because their expectations were not met according to her.

"Some people in the NDC are bleeding inside . . . some of them close to Mahama; they are not happy because they didn’t get what they expected . . . it wasn't easy" at the (NEC) meeting, she said in a panel discussion on The Platform programme on Peace FM.



However, the Communications Officer of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi disagrees.

Speaking on Neat FM's Me Man Nti programme, he said the NEC meeting was a very successful one and that everyone who attended was pleased with John Mahama's choice.

"It was a yeah yeah from everybody," he said.
