A member of the NDC Communication Team, Peter Akwasi Mensah as described as woefully pathetic, the Akufo-Addo led government's commitment to the fight against bribery and corruption in the country.
 
According to him, the proceed on leave directive issued the Auditor-General Daniel Yaw Domelevo by President Akufo-Addo is the first step of a calculated plan to oust him from office to protect his ‘corrupt officials’.
 
Speaking on NEAT FM’s political talk show ‘Asem Yideka’, Peter Akwasi Mensah said that the President’s decision to ‘force’ the Auditor-General to go on leave at a time he was investigating the Senior Minister is ‘wrong’.
 
He also alleged that Domelevo is being haunted by the government after he declined to be a party to the mismanagement and corrupt actions of some officials.
 
“Ghana is leading corruption in the world because of President Nana Addo. It’s so embarrassing.” He told host Mac Jerry Osei Agyeman
