Prez Akufo-Addo Using COVID-19 To Campaign For Election 2020 - Inusah Fuseini

Member of Parliament for Tamale Central constituency, Hon. Inusah Fuseini says President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has taken undue advantage of the COVID-19 to campaign aggressively for election 2020.

According to him, the President as the first gentleman of the land leading the COVID-19 fight has put in place measures that favour only him and his political party.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he explained that the COVID-19 is a global pandemic and instead of the President focusing on how he is going to assist in solving this global crisis, he has decided to use it as a campaign platform for elections 2020.

"The World Health Organization (WHO) is providing every assistance possible to end this global pandemic but the President takes delight in campaigning with the little he is doing to assist the COVID-19 fight in this country," he said.

"That is an abuse of incumbency if the President who has instituted measures for the COVID-19 decides to unduly take advantage of the system to campaign for himself," he added.
