A Demonic Spell From NPP Has Been Cast On Rawlings

Politics is indeed very interesting; most especially when some politicians try to spin propaganda or assign all kinds of reasons to issues pertaining to a particular incident. The latest to fall into this category is the Municipal Chief Executive of Bekwai, Hon. Asante Manu. The MCE claims the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) could possibly be behind current petty squabbling and internal wrangling in the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). He alleges the NPP has consulted a spiritualist or juju man, to work on the minds of the former first couple, in order to destroy the NDC. Speaking in an interview with Adom FM, Hon. Asante Manu maintained that events unfolding in the ruling party are the same as what transpired in the country a few years back when a mallam was consulted to spiritually work on the mindset of General Afrifa. To him, it was difficult to fathom why anyone would be in a hurry to go into opposition, knowing the kind of difficulties to be faced there. With Rawlings case, I believe that there is a spiritual being behind it, Hon. Asante Manu said. But in a livid tone, the National Womens Organizer of the NDC, Madam Anita Desoso, angrily cautioned the MCE for Bekwai to desist from passing ill comments about ex-president Rawlings on-air and called on him to retract and apologize for alleging that the former president Rawlings has been possessed by a demon; manipulating him to destroy his party. Why would you open your mouth to say he (Rawlings) is being manipulated by the devil?...he has just erred and I want him to apologize to Ghanaians now, she said. But Hon. Asante Manu will not budge and boldly told the NDCs National Womens Organiser to the face that without fear or favour, Ill not retract my earlier comment. Madam Desoso however, prayed the Bekwai MCE to refrain from using the former First couples name as an illustration, whenever he was trying to make a point, adding that she prefers to stay in power, for ex-president Rawlings to hurl insults at her, than for people to shut her up even in opposition.
