The Youth Wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has honoured the Chief of Staff, Hon. Akosua Fema Osei-Opare and the Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission, Lawyer Kawdwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John.

The move is in recognition of the tremendous support and contribution the two have continuously offered to the Youth Wing.

Led by the National Youth Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye, popularly know as Nana B, the NPP Youth Wing at separate ceremonies, presented special citations to the Chief of Staff and Sir John for their contribution towards the growth and development of the Wing.

Nana B positing on his Facebook wall stated that ‘’ The two stalwarts of our tradition have been towering figures who have  guided the growth of the party’s Youth Wing to its current pedigree.’’

I visited the Chief of Staff of the Republic, Hon. Frema Opare-Osei to commend her for the tremendous support and contributions to the development of the NPP National Youth Wing.

I presented on behalf of the National Youth Wing, a special Citation in recognition of her priceless efforts towards the development of the National Youth Wing all these years.

On a similar mission, I met with former Chief Scribe of the NPP and Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission, Hon. Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, aka 'Sir John' and presented the National Youth Wing's special Citation to him for his immeasurable contributions to the cause of the Youth Wing.

The two stalwarts of our tradition have been towering figures who have guided the growth of the party's Youth Wing to its current pedigree.
