NPP Parliamentary Primaries: Delegates Pick Nomination Forms For Dr Kwaku Afriyie

Some delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Sefwi Wiawso constituency in Western North Region have thrown their support for the incumbent Member of Parliament, Dr Kwaku Afriyie.

They want the MP to retain his seat stating emphatically that Dr. Kwaku Afriyie is the best person for the constituency.

They promised to work hard to ensure the incumbent MP wins the primaries and subsequently win the parliamentary seat and increase the votes of the President to continue developing Sefwi-Wiawso and Western North Region.

 “...having won the seat for the first time since 1992 for the party in three solid consecutive attempts, there is no better candidate than him and so picking nomination forms for him in this regard is indeed a confirmation of our unwavering support for his candidature…We are also of the firm belief that his good works...would win him more votes in the upcoming general elections. One wonderful term indeed deserves another,” the delegates said.

Mr Benjamin Oppong, constituency secretary advised the members to run a clean campaign devoid of insults and personal attacks.

He called on them to spread the good policies of President Nana Addo and the NPP.

Mr Micheal Kwarteng, constituency chairman asked aspirants to obey rules and regulations governing the conduct of the primaries.

Aspirants in the Region are to pay GH2000 bankers draft upon picking the forms and regional development levy of GH5000.
