The Electoral Commission (EC) has defended its decision to change the voters’ register with just a year to the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.

According to the Commission, the current register has been over-stretched, hence, the need for a new one.

Speaking on UTV, the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC wondered if the voters' register is a 'condom' to be 'overstretched'.
