There Is Hardship In Ghana But, . . . – Kokofu

Former Member of Parliament [MP] for Bantama constituency in the Ashanti Region, Henry Kwabena Kokofu has confirmed that there is hardship in the country, yet he refuses to admit the NPP government should take the blame.

He says this government under President Akufo-Addo has developed and is still building up better approaches that will forever keep this country out of the sufferings we are currently going through.

“ . . yes, there is hardship in Ghana but this government is working very hard in the right direction to get it resolved. It is for this reason that nurses’ allowances have been restored, teachers allowances also restored and free SHS project embarked on even though there is more room for improvement,” he said in an interview on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ political panel discussion programme.

Meanwhile, on the call by the Ghana Bar Association's [GBA] call for consensus on security situations during its 37th anniversary remembrance service of the three high court judges abducted and murdered in 1982, Kokofu heatedly mentioned that members of the NDC should never be seen or heard speaking about insecurity issues in Ghana because they don’t have the “moral justification” to address matters in that direction.
