Your Way of Lobbying For IGP Position Wrong – Former NDC DCE To CID Boss

Donkor Fuseini, a former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Afram Plains says COP Tiwaa Addo-Danquah is just trying to ‘lobby’ for the position of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) with his recent ‘attack on the NDC’.

This comment follows another invitation from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)

The CID invited Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo to assist in allegations of kidnappings and involvement in recent fire outbreaks in the country.

However, the NDC says they will not allow the National Chairman to respond to the invitation which they describe as a form of intimidation.

Speaking further on the issue during a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Donkor Fuseini accused Madam Tiwaa of trying to ‘catch’ the eye of the President to get her the IGP position.

“She is allowing emotions to override her and I think it is not the best . . . I think the errors are too much. These efforts to catch the eye of the President to lobby for the IGP position won’t work,” he alleged.
