Government’s Spokesperson attached to the Ministry of Information, Mr. Eric Amoako Twum has said he will not in any way side with persons who have called for the removal of the Minister of State in Charge of National Security, Bryan Acheampong from office.

“As far as I am concerned the final investigations from the police will absolve Bryan Acheampong,” he asserted.

He says he feels so sad to hear detestable comments coming from former President John Dramani Mahama who never made any move to fight vicious occurrences during his term of office.

According to him, he never embraces violence because his biological father died under NDC’s revolution and will be the happiest man on earth should all vigilante groups be completely wiped out of our political field.

Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ prgramme, Mr. Amoako Twum furiously said “the NDC should tell us one state security officer who resigned under any of their governance when violence erupted during elections . . . before they call for the removal of Bryan Acheampong.”

“The truth is that two days before the elections, members of the NDC had in advance planned to cause chaos,” he alleged.

Minister of State in-charge of National Security, Bryan Acheampong has confirmed his outfit deployed the masked security men present at the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-elections.

According to him, the men were deployed based on reliable information to his outfit concerning the by-election at the La-Bawalashie polling centre.
