A first year female student of Tarkwa Senior High School (Tarsco) has been reportedly kidnapped in Tarkwa, Western Region.
The girl, Augustina Ndago was visiting his brother in Prestea when he was kidnapped.
According to his brother, an unknown number has called demanding for a ransom before releasing her.
Authorities in the school have confirmed the kidnapping.
Assistant headmaster of the school, Mr Sowah who disclosed the sad incident to Appiah Danquah; Peace FM correspondent said Augustina reported sick and after receiving first aid, the school authorities gave her permission to seek medical treatment home.
However, she was kidnapped while going from Tarkwa to Prestea.
The issue is now in the hands of the Tarkwa Police Divisional Command.
This case adds up to four, the number of girls who have been kidnapped in Takoradi in the Western Region.
