Peacefmonline can confirm that portions of the venue for the upcoming NDC National Delegates Congress have been slightly gutted by fire.
Though the actual cause of the fire is not yet known, it is however, believed that the fire might have been caused by an electrical fault.
No major damage was caused whiles the situation has been brought under control.
The Congress, to be held at the WAEC Center in the Northern Regional capital, Tamale, begins on Friday, 15th January.
Over twenty thousand (20,000) supporters, delegates and observers are expected to attend the Congress.
