NPP National Treasurer Race: Abankwah Yeboah Pick Nomination Forms

The incumbent National Treasurer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kwabena Abankwah Yeboah, has picked his nomination forms at the party’s headquarters to enable him contest NPP 2018 National election.

Mr. Abankwah Yeboah has pledged his commitment to help and protect the party’s purse in other to solve their financial problems, which relate to accountability.

Speaking to the media after picking his form, he said “When I took office as National Treasurer, NPP was in opposition; faced with many challenges such as outstanding debts inherited from previous administration, Bills and expenses of staff at National Secretariat etc. but by the grace of God all this bills has been settled and paid for.

You all gave me the mandate to manage the party’s money and am must say I have pay my quota in this four years which records are there to show.

It is my tenure of office that I introduce Adopt a polling station, SMS donation platform, I am for Nana App, NPP donation scratch card, Decentralization of dues, Collection at constituency level and ensuring the opening of bank account for every constituency.

I was also deeply involved in creating and implementing iconic fund raising ideas for the party during the 2016 election.

Even though a lot has been achieved in my time, there is more to be done, therefore I am here again pleading on you for this same support and I promise to deliver on my promises once more.

The incumbent National Treasurer entreated the delegates to demonstrate their commitment to the party since the people had an undying spirit for the party; with them the party is going to be victorious in the 2020 general election.

The NPP national executive elections are part of the re-organization process of the party towards the 2020 general elections.

Already, polling station, constituency and regional elections have been held across the country.
