Rebecca Does Magic As Ejisu Queenmother Also Endorse Nana Addo (PHOTOS)

The NPP Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo continues to attract support from interest groups and high profile traditional authorities across the country ahead of the crucial elections.

Barely 24 hours after receiving overwhelming endorsement from the Queenmother of the Asante Kingdom, the NPP flagbearer has once again caught another 'big fish' following fresh endorsement from the Queenmother of the Ejisu Traditional Council, Nana Yaa Asantewaa II.

The Ejisu Queenmother, who is one of the most powerful women leaders in the Kingdom, threw her support behind the NPP leader through his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo, who is on a tour in the Ashanti Region.

Not only did Yaa Asantewaa II announce her support for the biggest opposition party, she actually danced at the Palace on Friday to signal total support and excitement at the visit of Mrs. Akuffo Addo.

The Queenmother of Ejisu, who symbolizes the famous Nana Yaa Asantewaa, the woman credited in history for mobilizing men to protect the Golden Stool from the English colonial masters, said she has adequate hope and trust in the NPP flagbearer to resuscitate the country's ailing economy and bring it to the path of development and prosperity.

Mrs. Akufo Addo, on her part, could not hide her excitement at the news and the show of support for her husband and pledged that the next NPP administration under Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo will deliver to the satisfaction of all.

She was led by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman ‘Wontumi’, his aide Andy Owusu, Mrs. Cecilia Abena Dapaah, Madam Dokuaa, Mrs. Bawuah and Beatrice Serwaa Derkyi.
