If you will recall, Peacefmonline.com and the Kokrokoo team started updating you on the 123 Community Senior High Schools built by the Mahama-led administration from Monday.

We brought you report from the Western Region on Thursday.

Thursday’s tour of the Western Region revealed that work has not started on two of the plots allocated to be used for the construction of Assakai and Nsuem Community Senior High School.

According to our reporter, Appiah Dankwa, the project at Tarkwa Nsuem Municipal has now been awarded to a contractor; no one knows when he will start work.

At Sekondi-Takoradi-Assakai, they have now finished with access route to the site. According to this reporter, the first contractor in charge of the project had to run for his life because he was being threatened by residents. No one knows why he was being threatened. Authorities are yet to give the contract to a different contractor.

Meanwhile, out of the 123 SHSs, 13 are in the Western Region and out of that only 1 has been completed. Ten is uncompleted and work is yet to start on two.
