Deputy Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress [NDC], Kweku Boahen has said that the NDC keeps receiving God’s blessings based on its good conscience towards the citizenry, whiles the largest opposition party keeps suffering in all they do due to their crooked style in relating to people.

“God keeps blessing the NDC because we have good conscience for others which the New Patriotic Party [NPP] is lacking and needs to emulate from us,” he said.

During a panel discussion on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, he affirmed “Until Members of the NPP start having good conscience for others they can never win Presidential elections in this country."

MP for Bantama, Hon. Henry Kwabena Kokofu on the same platform spoke against his analysis saying “How can you praise a corrupt leader who we know is President for only his party members. What kind of fabricated tales has the NDC not criticized the NPP of that you would sit here and say we don’t have good human relations”.

Kweku Boahen claimed Ex-President Kufour would have been a Bishop by now if he was a pastor for realising the need for a review of the 1992 Constitution to extend the tenure of office for elected Presidents.

Ex-President John Agyekum Kufour claims the current four-year tenure does not provide ample time for a President to put in place the right structures to implement all of his government’s policies.
