Reject Politicians Who Just Want Vote Nduom Tells Kumbungu People

Presidential hopeful of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, has charged the Ghanaian electorate not to allow themselves to be used by politicians who have not taken or spent time to understand the challenges faced by the people they want to represent and are only interested in using them to advance their political careers.

Addressing a teeming crowd of PPP supporters in Dalun, a farming community in the Kumbungu constituency, Dr. Nduom asked the people to make the electoral decisions based on the track records of the candidates.

“In the 2016 elections, we must resolve to vote for people who have demonstrated the track record of ability to do not people who campaign to be voted for because they come from the area,” stated Dr. Nduom.

In an apparent jibe on the NDC’s parliamentary aspirant for the area, Ras Mubarak, Dr. Nduom tasked the constituents to reject candidates who only realise where they come from because other places rejected them.

“In this election reject people who are coming home after realising that other places rejected them. You must never remember your hometown only because it is time for elections,” he charged the people.

Accepting the challenge to hold the ticket of the PPP to victory in the Kunbungu constituency, Abubakari Abdul Fatawu, promised Dr. Nduom and the PPP that he will leave no stone unturned in his quest to wrestle the seat for the party

Dr. Nduom has been on a national campaign tour that has taken him to the Ashanti, Eastern and Northern Regions of the country.
