The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC), Presidential Campaign launch, turned out to be one of the most outstanding campaign launches in recent times. This was in spite of the negative schemes of the NPP.

The Cape Coast Campaign launch has enlightened Ghanaians across the country on the true position of political affairs in Ghana. It has thrown to the fore the facts on ground. It has shown in very clear terms that the party which belongs to all and a party not tied to the apron strings of a party national leader.

The crowd that trooped out to welcome the Vice President Kwesi Amissah -Arthur and President Mahama and re-affirm their support for the NDC was in excess. The 16,000 capacity of the stadium was grossly inadequate to host the crowd as majority of the NDC supporters preferred to hold carnivals outside the stadium.

It was at the stadium that the people of Cape Coast exhibited their love and endorsement for President Mahama and Amissah Arthur, and all NDC candidates in the forthcoming general elections saying that the candidate is only awaiting his formal inauguration.
