Ghana Will Prosper Under Right Leadership Regent Of Dagbon

The Regent of Dagbon, The Kampakuya Na, Andani Yakubu Abdulai, who is also head of the Andani Royal Family, is optimistic that Ghana, under the right leadership, will in no time fulfill its true destiny dreamt of by her forefathers who led the struggle for independence.

Describing Ghana as a “perfect nation”, with an abundance of human and natural resources, the Regent of Dagbon noted that “with the right leadership, certainly, Ghana will get to where it is destined to be.”

Andani Yakubu Abdulai made this known on Monday, August 8, 2016, when he received a delegation of the New Patriotic Party, led by its 2016 presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, at the Gbewaa Palace.

With a few months to the December elections, Regent of Dagbon urged all politicians to me be mindful of the promises they will make to the electorate, explaining that “one needs to look at the resources Ghana can put together (before making promises), because you do so with the mindset that we will put both the human and natural resources of the country together in order to achieve whatever is promised.”

He was, however, hopeful that the various campaign messages being churned out by the various political parties will lead to a peaceful and prosperous Ghana.

The Regent of Dagbon also admonished all political party “to be mindful of what they say on the airwaves, as their language can inflame passions and take Ghana to where it ought not to be.”

In his advice to the youth of Dagbon, Andani Yakubu Abdulai cautioned them to assess carefully what they will be asked to do (by politicians) in this election year, adding that “Ghana is for the youth, and if we are talking about tomorrow, it is the youth who are Ghana’s tomorrow.”
