PPP Vice-Presidential candidate Brigitte Dzogbenuku says the Mahama administration has failed to deliver on its mandate and should be kicked out at the December polls.

According to Brigitte, although she voted for the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the last election, the government has failed to deliver on its promises.

“We live in a dynamic world, we have expectations…if I am promised something that is not delivered and the desire is not coming then I will move…I am not NDC,” she said.

In a selection that has been received with surprise, the entrepreneur was presented by another entrepreneur and business magnate Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom to faithfuls of the Progressive People's Party at a ceremony in Accra. In line with the PPP's tradition, the vice-presidential candidate does not have to be a member of the party. The party says this strategy is supposed to symbolize the party’s all-inclusiveness.

The closest Dzogbenuku has come to public politics is protesting poor governance in 2014 during a demonstration by pressure group Occupy Ghana. "I am not a politician," she told Joy FM in 2014. Fastforward to August 2016, her status has changed.

Brigitte Dzogbenuku, a women empowerment advocate in an interview on Joy FM Friday said she has a thick skin to endure the mudslinging expected in politics.

According to her, the quality of governance is poor which she sees in growing levels of impunity in government.

Everything that can possibly go wrong is going wrong...with our education, our agriculture, she asserted.
