National Youth Organizer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) is amazed at the open vitriolic attacks hurled at him by his predecessor, James Kwabina Bomfe popularly known as Kabila.
According to Ernesto Yeboah, given his position as a former Youth Organizer, he expected Kabila to support their cause in saving the CPP from corrupt and greedy politicians.
His comment comes after the former National Youth Organizer of the CPP claimed he [Ernesto] lied about the main reason for his suspension.
Kabila who is also a member of the Central Committee who suspended Ernesto and General Secretary, Nii Armah Akomfrah after publicly contradicting their flagbearer’s position on President Mahama’s Ford gift saga claim the two are spewing venom and lies to make the CPP unpopular ahead of the December 7 polls.
In a rebuttal, Ernesto Yeboah on Asempa FM Tuesday said the conduct of Kabila is borne out of jealousy of his successes while in office.
He explained that, because he has been able to successfully turn the hitherto non-functional CPP youth league into a vibrant one which is now relevant in Ghana’s body politic,” Kabila feels inferior”.
“Kabila is envious of me because I have transformed the youth league and we are making an impact in Ghana’s body politic” he stated
In spite of the backlash from members of his own party, Ernesto Yeboah said he remains focused to ensure the youth deliver two million votes to the CPP in the December 7 elections.
