Vote For Freedom Napo

Ghanaians have been asked to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to save themselves from the economic mess and bondage that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has plunged them into for the past eight years.

Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh aka Napo, Manhyia South NPP Member of Parliament (MP), who made the call, observed with great pain that Ghanaians are currently in economic slavery and lambasted President Mahama and his NDC administration for causing this great quandary for the masses.

Napo urged the electorate to vote massively for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the NPP presidential candidate, and all parliamentary candidates of the party to save the country from its current path to destruction.

According to him, the country will fall into an economic abyss if the citizens make a mistake of retaining President Mahma and the NDC in power in the December 7 national elections.

He was speaking during the official campaign launch of the Offinso South Constituency branch of the NPP Sunday afternoon. The event was also used to raise funds to support the party’s campaign in the area.

Dubbed ‘People’s Forum,’ the programme, which was aired live on Ashh FM in Kumasi, was highly graced by NPP bigwigs in the Ashanti Region, including the regional chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Wontumi.

Ben Abdellah, Offinso South MP and parliamentary candidate, stressed that the NPP needs total unity, if the party wants to topple the non-performing NDC administration in December.

He stated that the NPP in the constituency was eager to win a staggering 90 percent of valid votes in December to improve the chance of Nana Akufo-Addo winning the polls. Napo called for hard work so that the party could achieve its goal.

Kennedy Kankam, parliamentary candidate for Nhyiaeso in Kumasi, admonished party members to reject all the NPP members who would run for parliamentary seats as independent candidates, saying such behaviours (going solo) doesn’t augur well for the party.
