Member of Parliament (MP) for Nkwanta North, John Bless Oti has hit back at Founder and president of IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe for criticizing him on Citi FM last Saturday.

The Deputy Minister for Local Government designate is furious at Mr. Cudjoe’s comments that his [Oti Bless] verbal attack on the Chief Justice triggered threats by the Montie 3 who are now serving four months each in prison.

But when contacted by NEAT FM’s William Gentu to deny or confirm the allegation levelled against him, the NDC Man refused to talk on radio but rather launched a series of attacks on Franklin Cudjoe via WhatsApp.

A viral audio which surfaced last week, allegedly captures the voice of Oti Bless’ castigating the Supreme Court on the same Montie FM ‘Pampaso’ programme, just days after the host of the show and two panelists were imprisoned for contempt.

The MP accused the Chief Justice of “conniving” with the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in an attempt to reverse the election results in 2008 and in 2012 among other allegations.

Mr. Cudjoe, in response to the issue, likened the MP’s comments to the infamous ‘Hate Radio’ which ushered in the Rwandan genocide. “I am surprised the Chief Justice isn’t suing him by now,” the IMANI President said.

But in a sharp riposte via WhatsApp, the Nkwanta North MP rubbished Franklin’s comment - “Tell Franklin to check my track record as a young person before opening his mouth 360 to talk rubbish. Tell Franklin I can employ him and pay him for the rest of his life”.
