I'm just praying hard to Almighty God . . . - Nana Addo

New Patriotic Party 2016 presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has expressed worry at the high level of corruption in President Mahama’s administration.

“I am just praying hard to Almighty God to make me the next President of this nation so that our resources can serve their required purpose,” he said.

“Frankly speaking the level of corruption under President Mahama’s government has reached an alarming rate which needs to be thoroughly checked,” he added.

Addressing a rally at the Ahafo Ano South constituency in the Ashanti Region as he begins his five day tour of the region, Nana Addo indicated that monies to be used for developmental projects have landed into individual pockets, a very disturbing phenomenon devaluing our economy.

“I promise to bring back teacher, nursing and any other allowances Mahama has cancelled making life very difficult for persons in those sectors,” he said.

However, his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo addressing staff and patients of the La General hospital in Accra appealed to Ghanaians to vote massively for his husband since he would be capable of making all his promises come to light.
