Im Living Good In Opposition, I Dont Care If . . . - Kennedy Agyapong

To some NPP members tasting opposition is unpleasant so they are working tirelessly to clinch power from the incumbent National Democratic Congress [NDC] in the November 7 elections.

But one flamboyant straight-from-the-shoulder member of the ‘Elephant’ fraternity seems to be enjoying the party’s current position as the main opposition party in Ghana.

According to Kennedy Agyapong, he is living an over-the-top life style in opposition – therefore he careless if his party is again conquered in the upcoming election.

The NPP legislator explained that – some happenings in his party if not attended to will end the party in an everlasting opposition.

“Do you know how much some of us spend in the party? Don’t push me to be saying things,” he said on Accra-based Asempa FM

His reaction was in connection to an alleged assault of Collins Owusu Amankwah, MP for Manhyia North in Kumasi, by the Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as ‘Chairman Wontumi’

Kennedy justified the attack and had wish the chairman could have assaulted his colleague MP messily – “I will support 'Wontumi', today, tomorrow and at any time. If you are a sitting MP and you fool, we will beat you.”

The Assin Central MP is not bothered if using an abusive way to discipline Members of Parliament will daunt his party's chances of winning the November election.

“Me, opposition . . . I’m living good! I don’t care. We are sick and tired of these people. Why?” he questioned.
