As if more evidence of Tiger Woods' precipitous decline were needed, it was revealed that the fallen superstar has been usurped as golf's top earner for the first time since the lists were compiled.
The 14-time major champion, who is now languishing at No 420 in the world rankings following a series of injuries, has been an ever-present at the top of golf's money list since the esteemed publication Golf Digest began compiling the records 13 years ago.
