Gitmo Ex-Detainees...Parliament Must Haul Hannah Tetteh Before Them - Kabila

James Kwabena Bomfeh, popularly called Kabila, has called on legislators in the country to probe into the circumstances that led to induction of two detainees from the Guantanamo Bay prison to Ghana.

Speaking on Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Kabila wondered why the Government of Ghana would accept to accommodate the detainees in the country.

According to him, there is little intelligence on the background story leading to the arrest and release of the detainees.

He wants Parliament and security experts in the nation to insist the Foreign Affairs Minister Hannah Tetteh tells Ghanaians the truth.

"How did the people end up at the Guantanamo Bay? What accounted for their imprisonment? We don't have much intelligence and so Parliament should hold (Hon.) Hannah Tetteh in camera to solicit the details."

Kabila also expressed worry about the security issues that accompanies the action by the government, stressing the urgent need for the State authorities to gather necessary intelligence on the deal.
