NPP Simply Wants To Force Ibrahim Mahama Out Of Business - Ponkor

Former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejisu Juaben, Mr. Yamoah Ponkor says the verbal attacks and constant houndings of the Chief Executive Officer of Engineers and Planners (E&P) Company, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama by the opposition NPP members are simply meant to force him out of business.

According to Mr Ponkor who is struggling to be reinstated as Ejisu Juaben MCE, the kind of politics being practiced in the country especially by the opposition New Patriotic Party could be retrogressive to national development.

Mr. Ibrahim Mahama has been roped into the AMERI Energy scandal after reports emerged his outfit undertook some civil works in connection with the project.

But the business mogul denied the allegation and recounted that his company was only assigned by VRA to build a platform to host the barge in an interview with Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, host of Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show.

Commenting on the negative news against the E&P CEO, Yamoah Ponkor lamented in an interview on the same platform that it is sad that such a young man blessed by God to employ the youth in the country is being subjected to such hate campaign.

Due to hatred, envy and politics, some people wants to bring down the efforts of Ibrahim Mahama and drive him out business…our kind of politics we are engaging in, if we don’t take care, we will get to a certain situation where we will regret as a country because in this country anybody who is engaged in a good cause to promote growth is associated with politics and eventually destroyed,” he bemoaned.
