NPP Will Have A Good Day In Amenfi West By-Election - Sammy Awuku

National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku has cast optimism over the by-election at Amenfi West in the Western Region.

Sammy Awuku, in an interview on Peace FM's news bulletin at 6 pm, is hopeful the NPP Parliamentary aspirant for the constituency Paul Dekyi will emerge victor at the end of the by-election.

He told Peace FM news that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has over the years outwitted the NPP so far as Amenfi-West Parliamentary elections are concerned.

He alluded to the 2012 elections that saw the late Member of Parliament for Amenfi West, John Gyetuah polled over 9000 votes to clinch victory over the New Patriotic Party.

However, Sammy Awuku believed his party "will have a good day" today after the results are counted.

Meanwhile voting has ended in the by-election at Amenfi West.

According to Peace FM Correspondent Teacher Akorsah, counting has begun in all the 102 polling stations in the constituency.
