Suspects In NPP Head Office Raid Granted Bail

The eleven suspects who were arrested for their alleged involvement in the unlawful night raid at the Head Office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been granted bail.

The suspects who were believed to be loyalists of Mr. Afoko dressed in military attire, carried out the act on Monday dawn.

According to the security guards at the headquarters, the men reportedly searched the offices after locking up them up.

The Police immediately arrested the eleven suspects and arraigned them before court.

On Wednesday, an Accra Circuit Court presided by Judge Abena Oppong Adjin Doku granted them bail after they pleaded not guilty to the charges and asked them to reappear in court on December 8, 2015.
